Special Abilties and Attributes: Rowena has power to alter laws of reality, such as gravity, physics, and time, and also has power to completely erase a person's existance. Her mix of human and Taerian DNA allows her to be immune to hysteria and, for the most part, panic. She is also fluent in all major languages, and most other ones, including many tribal languages.
Relatives: Tapestry, Rowena's cousin, the apparently evil sorceress. Jealous for power, Tapestry killed her aunt, making it look like she died in childbirth, in hopes of killing the woman and the child.
Zanael, Rowena's mother, was one of the original alien inhabitants of Earth. She was a very powerful sorceress, and also an influential Councillor on her homeworld, Taera, until her neice murdered her.
Marcus Firedia, a high-ranking soldier of the Roman Army a few years before the fall of the Empire. A human, he met, fell in love with, and married Zanael, and fathered Rowena.
Rhenon Semouth, known as Seth Kellers, Rowena's son, taken from her by the Kherubim a few months after his birth when his Kheran father died.
History: Born near a city now known as Bressanone, in what is now Italy, Rowena has lived all over Italy, and also in Athens, Paris, Normandy, London, Beijing, Dheli, the Bolivian jungle, New York, and presently San Francisco, to name a few. Almost burned as a witch several times (although she never was apprenticed to be a sorceress), and almost killed in an alien holocaust by the organization now known as International Operations (after which she spent 20 years in exile in Bolivia), Rowena has a general distrust of humans and therefor hides her true identity as much as possible, often changing names, residencies, and even nationalities, so as not to by noticed by quicker-aging humans.
Rowena has had Coda training in an usuccessful effort to prove to the Kherubim that she was fit to raise her child, half Kherubim. Even so, Rowena is an extreme pacifist, and will go out of her way to avoid using her fighting abilities or powers.
She is currently involved in a relationship with Black Razor and I/O Director of Operations, Ben Santini (a human).
After living in San Francisco with Ben for a couple of years, she was found by a Taerian operative by the name of Laraen Röka, who was sent to Earth to find the half-human child of the Councillor Zanael. Rowena was taken to her mother's planet and made an official diplomat between Earth and Taera.

Relatives: Ben has a huge Italian family, fifteen members of which appeared in "Family Ties."
History: Ben is a first-generation Italian-Amerian, the second of six children. He was born and grew up in New York City, and joined the Marines at eighteen to avoid moving to Florence with the rest of his family. Showing amazing talent, Ben was recruited into I/O's training program and soon joined Director of Operations John Lynch's personal covert action unit, the Black Razors. After being shot in the knee by Jacob Marlowe, Ben volunteered for a series of experimental operations to replace his knee with a mechanical one, rather than take a desk job. After physical therapy he returned to active duty with the Black Razors. After John Lynch resigned from International Operations, Ben rose up to replace him as Director of Operations.
A while after meeting his girlfriend, Rowena Harper, a covert mission took Ben to the jungles of Bolivia, where only he and two other Razors survived. The I/O Syndicate transferred him to San Francisco to train a new Razor team, who he tends to get quite frustrated with at times.
After Rowena became the diplomat to her mother's home planet, Taera, an interplanetary war was started by a race known as the Pfhor, and Ben and his Black Razors, along with over 300 other I/O troops, were sent into space to fight alongside the baerson forces.

Special Abilities and Attributes: With a unique mix of Kherubim and Taerian blood, Rhenon has the ability to sense if someone is partly or completely non-human. Since he is part Taerian and a relative of Tapestry, the Kherubim never allowed him to develop or even learn his other powers.
Relatives: Rowaena Firedia, his mother, a human/baerson crossbreed.
Semouth, his father, a Kherubim warrior and one of the original Kherubim on Earth. He was killed by Daemonites in a battle a few months after his son's birth.
History: The Kherubim who raised him never told him of his identity, so Rhenon grew up believing he was also a full Kherubim, and his mother had died during childbirth. He eventually discovered that he was part human, but never revealed this knowledge to his guardians. Not much is known of his history, as he was kept in general obscurity by the Kherubim so that his mother couldn't find him. In the mid-1990's he moved to San Francisco, where he did some research, discovered his mother's name, and tracked her down through I/O.

Special Abilities and Attributes:She is a ballet dancer and a premier at the San Francisco Ballet. She has and excellent build because of this and can dance two hours straight if she has to. If she knew how to fight she'd be a formidable opponant.
Relatives:Her family can be described as German Protestant Kennedys. Her father is an affluent politician and her mother does charity work. Most of her siblings are going through college or already have, to become doctors, lawyers, etc, except Joey, who is the youngest girl and a non-conformist punk rocker.
History: Molly is considered the black sheep of her family, even more so than Joey, because she turned down the chance to marry a Kennedy. She met Rowena, Tango et al after she was attacked by the would-be rapist who mysteriously died in his jail cell. Tango and Rowena took her under their wing and she became good friends with them, although wasn't told their secret of being non-human until she had found out for herself. She met Apollo at a bar they took her to, and after she'd had a few screwdrivers she was slobbering drunk, so he took her back to her apartment and made sure she'd be alright. .

Special Abilities and Attributes:He has amazing fighting abilities, and has been active in many of the Kherubim/Daemonite battles.
Relatives:Tango LaRue has been one of his best friends for years, so close that they decided they could never be lovers.
His very best friend was Semouth, who, upon his death, charged Apollo to care for the infant Rhenon, as the warrior knew his child would be taken from the half-baerson mother. Honoring his friend's wish, Apollo has raised Rhenon since infancy, and discreetly taught him more tolerance than another Kherubim might have, especially towards humans and baersonai, without revealing the childs lineage to him.
History:Having loose ties with the Kherubim on Earth, Apollo has been something of a loner, especially since the Daemonite wars ended. The Greek god is based on him, though he has dark hair and never actually raped anyone. The stories come from girls embarrassed to admit they'd slept with him, who consequently accused him of taking advantage. He also survived the Alien Operations holocaust. His is a gentle person, and has even gone so far as to practice abstinance with Molly while she is recovering from her attack. Because of his involvement in the abducting and raising of Seth, he is severely disliked by Rowena, who was never told the whole story until the early 21st century.

Culture: The planet of Taera is one society and culture. Styles don't change often, due to the long lifespan of its inhabitants. It's a very open society, meaning affairs are by no means secret, though prostitution is looked down upon and almost non-existant. Men and women share equal roles (though when it comes down to it, women are dominant). There is no collective racism, whether towards fellow Taerians or other species (individual feelings, however, are another story). They are very peaceful and slow to anger, and only go to war when necessary. However, the last planet you want to go to war with its Taera. The arts and sciences are highly appreciated.
Time: The planet of Taera orbits its sun in the same pattern as Earth orbits the sun of our solar system (one Earth year = one Taera year), but the Taerians use different units to measure time. There are three Taerian moons, Selaenzimaine, Aeom, and Lem.
Government: Highly diplomatic and democratic, ruled by Councillors of 19 distinct provinces, and ultimately the High Council, an elected panel of 20 Councillors.
Distinctive Features: A baerson has a life span about the same as a Kherubim, but where a Kherubim ages at the same rate as a human for the first twenty or so years, a baerson ages much slower. It usually takes about 250 years for a baerson to reach puberty, and at least 500, sometimes as long as 650, years to reach his/her "twenties," where s/he will stop aging for a few millenia (to put it lightly). Once he/she has started aging again, it takes at least another millenium for him/her to reach old age.
All baersonai, especially the women, have supernatural abilities and the option of becoming a sorcerer/ess, but must be taught to access these powers and go through a strict apprenticeship before becoming one.
History on Earth: A large group of exploring baersonai, including a few Councillors, landed on Earth some time before the Kherubim and Daemonites. Their language influenced Latin, which is where we get the Latin terra, meaning earth (the meaning of the word taera in Baersonnis is uncertain), and perpetua, meaning perpetual (the Baersonnis persatum means forever).
Due to Kheran and Daemonite predjudice, baerson blood was already rare by the mid twentieth century (WWII), when a holocaust, worked by Alien Operations (later International Operations) targeted anyone with traceably non-human blood and left only a few partial baersonai, and even less full baersonai, on this planet.
